Hues of purple

Three thrifted items, the dress with no tag, but in a beautiful sateen fabric, fitted like a glove and will be perfect for winter, as (like you can see) I can layer it up with turtle necks, blouses underneath. Even a nice fur coat would look stunning with it.

The second is the gorgeous lavender polka dot blouse. When purchsed, I didnt realise the front was sewn togethed, the buttons were for decoration (always try before you buy haha even from second hand places), but it fitted nicely and works so well with the current ruffles/big sleeves trend at the moment.

Last, are these shoes.
And wow, so gorgeous! In love with them. The coclour goes eith almost everything in my wardrobe and they fitted so good! Unfortunately, they are very impractical for the winter doesn here, and I have already had to put them away.

Love love love x

"Your face will stay like that if the wind changes!"

That is what everyone says.
Wives tale, or parents saying to stop naughty little kids making faces at stranges....

Putting it to the test.... sort of.
Hudson, Tyson and Tycho tried to make a face, I take a photo, keep that face and in 30 seconds take another photo and see if it is the same.
This DOES require you to pull a rather... strange face.. ENJOY!
Before-

After... ahuhd

Before.

After... yup, WAY more relaxed.

(sorry it's blurry) Before. lol

Aaand, after.

THANK YOU!

Baby LED light suit halloween costume.. -WHAT TO THINK

This video, the stick man, the little giggle, and the laughing parents makes me think a LOT
of different ideas.

One-
That is the cutest thing that you could ever set your eyes on, a real live STICK-FRICKIN'-WOMAN.
Two-
The parents are laughing at their own kid, and it almost seams like a laugh of, not that it's cute and funny, but they are 'torturing' her with the fact that she doesn't know what she looks like.
Three-
LED lights are the best. Period.

So, so this far I have kept my bargain... it's been what... 3 days? Yeah, I'm doing alright.

When I think

When I think about 'blogging', you know, some content for people of the internet group-ees to read and laugh at, it makes me feel good.
You know, like, that I am actually fulfilling what I had in my mind that I would do.
But as you KNOW, that kind of thing never really (ever) happens.. at all.
So, I decided, that next time I go to out; into town, beach, for a walk or something of the likes, I will do my best to take 2 photos, no less, and post them on here regularly.
Because, if I take photos on my phone, I can instantly upload them to a post, and any 'editing' can be done when I get onto my little white laptop!!!
--
SOOOO, with all that said, I will try and start doing that ASAP, and if I can manage to keep doing it, and you all like viewing the little short posts, I will reward you (and myself in a way) with proper posts on legit 'argument, fashion shoots, interesting doing's, and other random things that take more than 3 minutes to post up.
~
(basically a way of saying to you that I am really lazy and anything that may take more than 5 minutes is an effort and you should feel privileged to have me take the time out and devote it for you visual entertainment)
~
Well, I FEEL like I should feel bad about something.... but nevermind.

Visual candy to some soon, so stay tuned!

Moe,
This photo has no relevance to this post, but the fact that I will try and post words AND photos.

Glitter!

I merely sat down just to give up on this idea.

Writing at LEAST once a week - maybe I should make that at least once a month. A week takes a long time unless you despise the end of it coming.

Wait, no, that makes me sound like I regret making a blog, or trying to hold a blog up, I don't, honestly, I do find that I get tired and very lazy when I have time to do things, I do the usual "Yeah, that can wait, I have til Sunday to do that" -

Well, next thing you know it's Sundy' mornin'!
Gore-blimey!

Well, a small post or a long winded spiel, lecture, or opinionated idea, here is a post, like I promised, by the end of the week... just.
Here is some glitter for your week ahead!
Mwah!

now... like NOW!

When it comes to being reminded of something, you may tell me a thousand times 10 minutes before hand, but I will still manage to forget completely and very innocently about it the moment you walk away!

My wake up message this morning was from a very dear friend who I don't see very often as she is expanding her knowledge (and not forgetting anything) more vastly than I could even dream to do so!

"So, just discovered you a) have instagram, b) have a blog (which needs updating).."
 I'll stop there -

"Blog that needs updating"..

Why, why yes I do!
It was almost like a realization that hit me, but it wasn't, because I was fully aware that I had(have) a blog; but it made me think that my attendance to it is not how I had planned to use it when I started it.
It needs some TLC, in which I think I will give it now, and lets say.. for the rest of the year?

MY HALF-YEAR RESOLUTION (IDEA?)
I, Molly (MoeLee) will try her hardest and darnedest to not forget about her little blog on the 'net, she will update it at least once a week!

Is that setting the bar to high? And I biting off more than I can chew? Is the sky going to fall on my head? Will this whole endeavor fall apart in shame and disappointment?

Well, I do hope not, but one never knows, and with my memory, and all the reminders I have now set on my phone, I will probably forget.. to update it, but as a human being, I ask you to skip those silly faults, and look forward to a new post once a week - that is no more than 7 days apart, 68 hours, 5 days of work and a weekend (of work or laziness).

Stick with me, have a bet, think I can do it?

Have a drink on me, make it an apple and carrot juice and go for a run; why are you inside on the 'net?

Geez!

Madness Haul... vlog!

The most depressing thing happened( well, kinda).

I had 95% of a video edited, went down to get my fathers papers and, came back to a switched off computer... I figured that Photoshop Premiere Elements would have auto saved it, as it usually does.
But... It just hated me for a moment.
Not saved, everything lost..... nooooo!!!
And then our desktop computer crashed on top of that!!!
Anyway.. some pictures of the things I got this weekend out shopping!!
The video will be up soon!

Bil Donovan Masteclass -

It has been a week, a whole week since I took this class, but Easter has more days off than Christmas so... why did it take me so long?
Lazy.

For those who don't know, I got accepted into a Master Class with the Bil Donovan.
I tell myself all the time because it doesn't sound true-
Bil Donovan.

Me, 30 other participants from all walks of life (all into fashion and art of course).
Yes, it did cost, and quite a bit once I had paid for the flights and train; I was lucky enough to know someone over there that let me bunk down for the weekend(even picked my up from the airport and dropped me off.

Er, that's right, I forgot to tell you, the Master Class was in Melbourne; all hail!
I have never been into  Melbourne as such for shopping or staying, just zoomed from the boat to the closest suburb out of the inner city.
Always quite scared of the big city that it is.
But THIS time I went into the city. The very heart of fashion in Australia, the very life of which everyone around you breaths, eats, lives and thrives on fashion, style, and being the best - the people are also VERY nice people.

ANY WAY,  back to this Masterclass.

It started at 9:30 am, they gave us lovely fresh fruit and slice for breakfast(morning tea) before we sat down. I instinctively introduced myself to as many people as I could (it was very quite for a room full of 30+ people, so I put my RYLA  into gear).
- Two ladies I met(names? They had names?) were head designers from two mens wear labels in Myers and David Jones, they didn't however, tell me which labels.
- One boy I met was originally from Tasmania(yay) and was living in the Gold Coast while drawing exquisitely amazing drawings, that's what he did, but worked as a checkout boy (talent wasting!!).
- Another girl I met was (get this) Fashion design assistant to ALANNAH HILL.  I died.
- And another girl offered me an internship at her shoe design place (shoesofprey.com) of I remember correctly. Nice offer!

That is some of the people I met and spoke to a bit, there was such amazing talent around, and to meet everyone would have been amazing, I should have gotten everyone's contact details. I even got  photo with Bil, but that's on my phone, and I am in lazy state right now so don't expect that to go up on any sites soon.... unless you're following me on Google+, then I reckon you'll have seen him.

I will post some of the Art work that I created (totally non-masterpieces, but they will progress.

Thanks for staying with me this far!! Please comment, share and follow me (on here, twitter, tumblr and any other site I'm signed up to but can't remember at this time).

Thank you!!!

February, where have you gone?

Apparently it's been almost 20 days since I blogged.... oh well!

Let me just highlight briefly, inform you of change and.. well, fill you with knowledge of someone whom you've never set eyes on but for once feel obligated to read their life because.... they.... want ... you to. Thank you.

Let me start with VALENTINES DAY.
Romantic, yes, blissful, yes, swept off my feet, yes, marvellous time, yes, perfect night, yes.... for sleeping. That's all I did.
I wont say that Valentines day is overrated, I don't think it really is. When you love someone you can get them flowers any day, chocolate too, or ever a piece of jewellery to show your affection and love, or you could say it every morning and night.
The most of people who do think V-day is overrated and ridiculously promoted till it's almost like Christmas for females, well, I guess they're just jealous, or unhappy that someone (lot's of people actually) is being loved (touch, words, kindness, gifts and time) more than they are, and so a day that is for people in love or who love or what you call it, makes it harder for them to bare their unfortunate state, not that I dis you for being single, it is a time to reflect, and figure yourself out before trying to figure someone else out.
"Enjoy being single, it is a time for you, your body mind and life, enjoy it, love with come"

My next thing is well.... FIRST AID.
Yes! I did a First aid course, and it was really really good!
I had this vision, right of it being like sitting in a class room from 9 till 5, reading, writing, answering questions and boring lecture time.
Well, prove me wrong or strike me dead! (pref. the first). Best learning session outside of home ever, it was like, hands on, practical, the teacher was the most amazing interacting teacher in the whole of Tasmania (apart from Mum), if she wasn't sure, she would make us find the answer with her and we'd all discuss it outright and then check ourselves.
I would recommend a first aid course to anyone, whether your work requires one, or just for your own safety and so you don't feel helpless if some collapses, at least you know how to call an ambulance and perform CPR!
"Time is the key; life is in your hands, take it, heal it and return it to the world"

AND THEN BOXING.

Not much to say about this one, just that I know I will be going back next week to further my 'skill' (or lack there of) and get some exercise, it felt so good to just get out there and sweat, punch and well.. BOX!!

See you again soon!!

Posting on the go

I, in all my being, intelligence, wisdom and physical strength....  not; Have recovered the convenience of having a smart phone so as to be able to surf the web, shop, post photos, and write on my blog while I'm constantly in a difference place of location during the day.
As the phones got smaller, and the ideas got bigger, and we decided that after the Iphone 5, that we could have something that is a little bigger, not quite a phone size, but rather like holding a book up to your ear if you tried, yet perfect size to sit up 'till ridiculous hours of the night watching YouTube, reading our favourites blogs, updating our twitter status or Facebook profile picture.
I put a lot of faith into technology, that it will keep my work files safe and not delete them, keep my photos where I can find them and now with my new digital sewing machine, that it won't say straight stitch and then give me button hole.

I think, as I sit here at 10:30pm, thanks to technology and some person out there with an idea and their contacts, has brought me my little phone that I couldn't be without- all for good reasons ant of you older generation dissing internet and it's little phones and Facebook.

Wednesday

Wednesday Blender
Ooh, it’s wed-nes-day!
Does anyone else say words as they sound as well?
Like ‘Free-day’ for Friday, ‘Feb-roo-rary’ for February, ‘D-hi-lemma’ for Dilema and such?
Perhaps it was just instilled into me from my parents as they taught me to read;
“Say c-a-t”,  I can still hear my mother saying it to me as she read out of an old learn to read book.
~
As I was saying, Wednesday, yes, that’s what it is today, and it was when I woke up, and it was all day, and it even was when I sat down to do some sewing that was pretty much way overdue, and if the sewing was a cake it would have been thrown out long ago!
But honestly, my little second cousins, and their mother, my first cousin, left today, yes, they left, like on the plane back to Sydney and then from their they had a rather long drive back out to the middle of NSW to a heat wave and fires! I can’t imagine driving that late at night it would almost certainly knock my head off my shoulders and my eyes rolling into the next planet!
My parents took them down and visited my mothers uncle while they were there, I do hope the late long drive from there to here doesn’t have anything bad in store.
I am not stressing about my job, not at all, well, haha, to say the least I am trying not to think about it but my family seem to have taken a liking to thinking that I need to be thinking chemistry and metals and rocks 24/7…. no thanks, I will study, but not too much as I know my limits and as to how much may just make me into stress ball of string!
I think that’s all for Wednesday journal… was this meant to be a journal? Not really, but if you wish you read this far you may already know that I don’t do promises well or schedules…

Oh dear me, that is quite tragic, I feel like dancing till my feet fall off and it's 10pm, yet at this moment, I feel like if I don't close my eyes now that they WILL just die in a heap and I may not find them tomorrow!
OOOh, I went vinnies shopping.... that was so much fun, I got some really cute stuff, I'll have to post photos, but they take so much time to do.. ugh, oh well, if I get time much on here, then I will do my best to post!
